LXT Series
The LXT series of tools takes the lithium ion battery technology from the LCT series and applies it to a wider range of home repair solutions. The LXT batteries are an average of 40 per cent lighter than similar lithium ion batteries and use fewer cells to achieve the same voltage rating.
LXT Tools
Whereas the LCT series refers specifically to drills, the LXT branches out. Although it includes cordless drills, it also includes blowers, shearers, rotary hammers, drivers, angle grinders and many other cordless products. Makita products are available from most home improvement stores.
