The Yamaha RX-V563 AV receiver is designed to connect all of your audio and video equipment to one device, controlled with one remote. The AV receiver can be connected to 7.1 surround speakers, iPods and up to nine video sources. With your AV receiver connected to your cable and HDTV, you can easily controller your home theatre experience from just one device.

Instructions

  1. 1

Connect your cable to your AV receiver. You can plug in your cable's RF cable line directly into the “Antenna” input on the back of your AV receiver. If you have a cable or DVR box, you can connect that to your AV receiver with a component cable or HDMI cable.

  2. 2

Plug in one end of the HDMI cable into the “HDMI Out” port on the back of the AV receiver.

  3. 3

Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into an open HDMI input on your HDTV. If your HDTV does not support HDMI, you can connect the two devices via component cables and still get an HD signal.
