Minor dent repair is a simple do-it-yourself auto body repair with the help of a dent puller. Dent pullers come in a variety of shapes and sizes for use with different types of dents. A basic model dent puller uses a simple suction cup and manual force to pull the metal to the point where it pops back into the proper place. This type of dent puller is especially effective in areas such as doors and hoods.
