Ragazzi Crib Instructions

Ragazzi is the producer of baby furniture. The company uses the latest design trends in its finished wood products. Some of its products include cribs, beds, gliders and desks. Under its crib collection, parents or soon-to-be parents can select from different styles such Classico, Pompei and Etruria. Ragazzi cribs are available in caramella, cherry, snowdrift and rubbed black finishes. You can have your baby’s Ragazzi crib set up in less than one hour.

Screw the left drawer support to the headboard and the right drawer support to the foot board. Use two No. 6 by 1/2-inch screws provided in the package.

Connect the supplied wooden dowels to the end holes on the crib base and attach the base with the dowels to the holes under the corner post. Bolt the corner post from the bottom of the base with a 1/4-by-2-inch bolt.

Elevate the mattress base to the highest position for a newborn. Bolt one end of the long adjustment arm to the metal mattress frame with a 1/4-by-1 1/4-inch bolt, washer and acorn nut.

Assemble each of the three remaining adjustment arms with a 1/4-by-1 1/4-inch bolt, washer and acorn nut. Bolt the adjustment arms and the mattress base supports with four 1/4-by-3/4-inch bolts and four washers.

Attach four wooden dowels to the four ends of the mattress base supports.

Place the mattress base between the headboard and foot board. Attach the wooden dowels to the headboard and foot board using the four barrel nuts and four 1/4-by-2 1/2-inch bolts.

Thread the bolts into the barrel nuts, but do not tighten.

Support the headboard on a wall. Make sure that the holes are facing you. Bolt each stationary side rail to the headboard and foot board with four 1/4-by-1 3/4-inch bolts. Tighten all the bolts. (You can also convert your child’s crib into a toddler bed by unbolting one stationary side rail and adjusting the mattress support to the lowest position. Bolt the guard rail to the headboard and foot board with the four 1/4-by-1 3/4-inch bolts.)

Tips

The crib’s mattress should not be more than 6 inches thick.

Gaps on the sides of the crib should not be more than 1 3/16 inches.

Avoid placing the crib near windows. The cords from blinds or drapes may strangle the child.
