For a recipe that showcases the meat, dice up 454 g (1 lb) of pork tenderloin into 1.3 cm (1/2 inch) pieces. Rub the meat over breadcrumbs and dip into an egg mixture of 2 beaten eggs and 1/2 tsp of water. Dip the pork into the breadcrumbs again and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. In a sauté pan, brown four pieces of bacon and discard, saving the fat. Add the tenderloin and cook for 7 minutes. Take out and sauté one chopped onion, three minced cloves of garlic, and one cup of mushrooms until cooked. Pour in 237 ml (1 cup) of beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes. Add all the ingredients to a casserole dish and cook at 191 degrees C (375 degrees F) for 40 minutes. You can change this recipe by adding different herbs, such as thyme, parsley, or oregano. Use a variety of mushrooms, or try adding chopped leeks or spring onions. For a creamy casserole, pour in 118 ml (1/2 cup) of half and half into the broth mixture while it's cooking. For an Asian theme, add soy sauce.

Add 237 ml (1 cup) of condensed mushroom soup and 237 ml (1 cup) of water and cook for 3 hours. Transfer to a casserole pan and add a starch (like noodles). Pour on top and cover with 35 g (1/2 cup) of cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake at 177 degrees C (350 degrees F) for 30 minutes.
