Giant Soap Bubble Recipe

Commercial bottles of bubbles typically are not as concentrated as ones that you can make yourself, which makes it difficult to blow large bubbles. You can make your own giant soap bubbles with common items found around your home. Making your own giant soap bubbles will entertain children and adults who want to bring back childhood memories. Once you make the bubbles, store the solution in an airtight container to use it whenever you feel like heading outdoors and blowing bubbles.

Combine 6 cups of distilled water with 2 cups of liquid dishwashing soap into a large plastic container.

Add 3/4 cup of light corn syrup.

Stir the ingredients with a spoon. Stir them slowly to prevent the soap from creating suds until you mix the ingredients well.

Straighten a wire coat hanger with pliers to create a straight piece of wire.

Bend the hanger into a loop to create a bubble wand. The size of the loop will depend on how large you want to create your bubbles. Dip the loop end of the bubble wand into the bubble solution, and pull it out slowly. When you notice a clear film in the middle of the loop, blow on it to create a giant soap bubble.
