Hi, this is Ron Duncan from House to Home. And today, I'm going to show you how to repair bathroom vanity light sockets. For this project, we're going to need a light socket, yellow wire nuts, and wire strippers. The first thing we need to do, is turn off the light switch. Which controls the light and that kills the power. And I'm going to unscrew the light bulbs. I'm going to then, pull the socket holders, and they simply just pull straight towards you. Pull if off, and now, the cover will come, when you pull if off. And here, what I want to do, I'm going to replace this socket, this one is, is bad. So, I'm going to cut these two wires, and here's the socket. I'm going to cut this wire, and cut this wire. And now, I have my replacement socket. I'm going to strip the wire, using my wire strippers. There's a strand in wire, so I'm going to twist the wires. And I'm going to strip these, I'm going to twist the wires. And now, I'm going to put black to black, and I'm going to make this connection, I twist these two together. And again, black to black, white to white. And I'm ready to reinstall this wire socket and replace the cover. This has been Ron Duncan from House to Home, and that's how you repair a bathroom vanity light sockets.
