A clogged toilet quickly becomes unusable until it is unclogged. Unblock your toilet with the help of this free video presented by a professional and experienced plumber.
I'm Terry with Towers Murray Plumbing, Murray, Utah. Here to show you how to unplug a stopped up toilet. First thing you'll need is a plunger. Plungers come in different shapes, sizes. This happens to have a fold out which will help you force the water out of the bowl. First thing you want to do is stick it down in, give it a couple of pumps and then work that water till you've pushed that all the way out. Certain cases may take a couple of times you may even have to flush the toilet in between and then work that plunger again. If, if your toilet's stopped up beyond what a plumber, or a plunger can take care of in that case then you may need to call in a professional. Professionals will come in with a closet auger, a snake used for toilets. Snakes are approximately three feet long and can be put clear down through a toilet to pull out or retrieve whatever is stopped up in your toilet. We've now shown you how to unstop a toilet. Again, with your plunger you may need a little heavier plunger then just the typical one, sometime called a dual force plunger. I'm Terry with Towers Murray Plumbing, Murray, Utah.
