Welcome to Lee's Salon. I'm Reanna Amy. Today, I'm going to show you how to dye your dark hair blonde at home. So, we're going to be teaching you how to dye your hair blonde at home. You're going to get your blonde pack, whatever it is, and usually it comes with an applicator bottle. We've gotten started here already, and you're just going to make sure you move through the head, going section by section. Make sure you cover everything very well, from roots all the way down through the ends. When you pick your color, it kind of depends on what color your natural hair color is. If you have light blonde hair and you're going to dark blonde, you're going to be going a little bit darker, but if you're a darker, maybe a dark brown or a medium brown or a light brown and you want to go blonde, you're going to want to use an ash tone to help cut some of the orange and gold and red that may occur. So, you're just going to keep going section by section until you have the whole head saturated, and you're going to make sure you place the hair close to the scalp so it can receive the heat from your scalp. You're going to let that process for approximately 30 to 45 minutes. You'll wash it and you'll have blonde hair.
