Hi, I'm Danielle Cavalear, professional makeup expert, and today I'm going to show you how to cover spider veins with makeup. First of all, on our model, we're going to start with our concealer, and basically we're going to go ahead and add the concealer around the problem area first and work your way up into the rest of the face, but for now I'm just going to focus on this area right here, and we're going to add that. Our next step is going to be the foundation. I prefer a water-based foundation. It's much better for your skin, doesn't clog your pores. You're going to want to paint it on that area, a nice thin coat. You don't want to go too thick and you also want to make sure you cover the surrounding area so it doesn't look like you're actually enhancing the spider vein area. Just put a nice thin coat of foundation on top of your concealer, blend it in really nicely. You can even work your way half way down the neck. Now, to keep this look in order and keep it covered for the day, we're going to want to add a loose powder and that will set our first two steps in nicely, so it will last for a long time. And there you go, that is how to apply makeup to cover spider veins. I'm Danielle Cavalear, professional makeup expert.
