Hi, my name's Andrew Dryden, and I'm going to show you how to fix a loose door knob. Things you'll need, a screwdriver and a door knob. First, locate the set crew on side of the door knob. The set screw will be the only screw on the knob. Use the appropriate type screwdriver head, to loosen the screw, either a flathead or Phillips head. Loosen the set screw, until the knob turns freely without the latch moving. Turn the knob clockwise, until it fits snugly against the door. Tighten the set screw, until it is flat. Locate the slot on the post, just below the knob. Push a small screwdriver into the slot, to release the door knob, the knob will pull off. Press the spring clip, located at the edge of the decorative plate. Locate the slot on the post, just below the knob. Push a small screw driver into the slot, to release the door knob, the knob will pull off. Press the spring clip, located at the edge of the decorative. Pressing the spring will release the plate from the door. And finally, place the knob into the shaft, until it snaps into place. And that is how to fix a loose door knob.
