Hi, my name's Bob Linde, I'm an acupuncturist and herbalist in St. Petersburg, Florida. Today, we're going to learn how to make a massage oil using the carrier oil of our choice. So, once we gather our ingredients together, our carrier oil, which is olive oil, grape seed oil, almond oil, whatever you choose. Today, we're going to grape seed oil. And any number of essential oils and a bowl to mix them all in together. There's a number of different carrier oil, today, I'm going to actually use a grape seed oil because of it's light texture and nature to it. And then, we can use a combination of essential oils of our choosing, depending on what we want. Today, I'm going to use some lavender and just a little bit of patchouli. But, depending on whether we want to relax, which I'm choosing to do today. Or, we want to invigorate and we can even use a number of different herbs for arousal, to clear the mind or whatever our choice is. The choices of essential oils are up to your own creativity. So, when we do this, we basically want to use for every quarter cup of carrier oil, we want to use between three and five drops of essential oil. And pretty much, depending on how strong or how weak we want the scent. Would determine how many different drops of essential oil we want in there. But we want to keep the essential oils just as a little, subtle hint to the background. As opposed to an over powering smell. So, get your ingredients together, we'll go ahead and first put in our carrier oil. Then we'll add in our couple of drops of our two essential oils. Mix them together and store them, and we can enjoy a pleasant massage. So, please experiment with your different wonderful blends of massage oils and essential oils to create the perfect blend, and enjoy your remedies.
