Hi, I'm Caitlin from My Gal Friday, and today I'm going to show you how to clean a painted wall surface. So, the first thing you want is rubber gloves because you're going to be using a really warm soapy water. What you want to do is ring the rag out so it's just wet, but not dripping. So, you want to start in the corner of the area that you are going to be washing and you want to just gently wipe in a circular motion across the surface of the wall and you can see if there is scuff marks, you can scrub a little bit harder. Now, you really want to use a mild detergent because the painted surface can start to come up once the paint gets wet. Interior paint is usually water soluble. So, you want to use a very mild and nonabrasive detergent and mix it with warm water, and just gently scrub at the wall and you just want to use this process all along the surface of the wall that you're cleaning and you just let it air dry and so that is how you clean a painted wall. I'm Caitlin Bothwell from My Gal Friday, and I've just showed you how to clean a painted surface.
