Hi, my name is Tanya Batts and I'm a Personal Trainer at Gold's Gym. I want to share with you a few yoga exercises that can really help reduce the middle, the belly fat. The things you will need for this are a mat and some space. So, come on, the first, probably the best Yoga exercise I could think of is plank, targets those abdominals. So, I'm going to come right here and the plank I like is elbows under your knees, underneath hips is the easiest one ever. I'm going to send one knee back, then the other and really want to sink the hips and be long from the crown of the head right up to the knees. So, this is the easiest plank. If you want it harder, tuck your toes under, lift the knees off. Way challenging, all the abdominal muscles, low back muscles are engage. Pretty fantastic. If you want more shoulder simulation, you can come up on your hands. Still challenging; abdominals are engage, I'm going to show you an extended plank. So, here is a regular plank. If you want it harder, take one hand forward, then the other, lower the hips and holy cow, you've got major abdominal simulation. So, there's your plank, your extended plank. I'm going to push back into down dog because this is Yoga after all. Abdominals in, now I'm going to shift forward back into that plank and come into side plank. So, if you want to strengthen those abdominal muscles, think plank. Lift the top leg, makes it a little harder; but, it's good stuff. So, those are a few things you can do with Yoga that will absolutely target the middle, really get the middle hot and get you rock solid through Yoga.
