Hello, I'm Sue Walker and I'm going to show you how to make a beef stir fry tender. You will need a stir fry pan, a bowl and a small sauce pan. The ingredients are two tablespoons of sesame oil, two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, two pounds of lean sirloin tip steak cut into thin slices, one half cup of diced onion, one half cup of sliced red bell pepper, one half cup of sliced yellow bell pepper, one cup of diced celery, one cup of sliced fresh mushrooms, three sliced carrots, one teaspoon of minced garlic and one half cup of raw almonds. For the sauce, you will need one and a half cups of beef broth, two tablespoons of Hoisin sauce, three tablespoons of soy sauce and two tablespoons of cornstarch. Heat half of the oils in the stir fry pan on medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir fry until the beef is cooked but still with a hint of pink. Take the beef out of the pan and put in a bowl. Now, add the rest of the oils to the pan. Add the vegetables to the pan and stir fry for about four to five minutes. Return the beef to the vegetables and cook for another two to three minutes. Combine the beef broth, Hoisin sauce, soy sauce and cornstarch. Stir until the cornstarch is dissolved. Cook the sauce until thick. Add to the beef and vegetables and stir. And, that is how to make a beef stir fry tender.
