Hi! I'm Rose Parlato. I'm from Caffe Espresso Italian Ristorante. I'm the owner and executive chef there, and I'm going to give you a few tips on how to have a good party. I want to talk about organization and writing everything down in paper, your guest list, from what types of food, and your theme. It is very important that you organize, know how many people are coming, have a shopping list, and also have something that you know that the guest are going to have fun with. I would suggest a couple interesting hors d'oeuvres. I'm going to show you a couple simple hors d'oeuvres that really make an impression on people. One of them is a caprese on a satay stick. So right here we're going to take a half of grape tomato, and what we're going to do is put a little bit of paste on it, then we're going to put some fresh mozzarella. And then you're going to do the top of the grape tomato. You can also put a leaf of basil in there. Now, having hundreds of these sticks (this is very simple and very good) and you have a drink, have a Martini, and you know, eat a caprese in a very petite, cute way. You can also make an arrangement. So when we have parties here, we make arrangements. We put 'em in styrofoam with looking like they're grass and there's like all types of tomatoes growing from your garden. You can put 'em in glasses. You can display 'em on tables with just like this is stick so that they can get them on a dish. But that's a very simple tip, and I think that that's easy for everyone to do and an impression. The next thing that I'm going to show you is having your receiving your bolts of glasses that are free. These are candles, these are candle glasses (when the candle is done, wash out the glass) to a mini-shooter such as you can do tomato juice, you can do a Virgin Mary or you can do a Bloody Mary. You can do top it off with some grilled crudite, and this is very interesting and putting of so many around for your guest to get, thus make another impression. This is a great tip and something that people will just love to have as an hors d'oeuvre, it's not just eating food but having a drink as an hors d'oeuvres in a miniature way.
