Hi, I'm Michael Weisner. I'm an animator, 2-D illustrator and graphic designer, and today I'm going to show you how to draw dresses on women. Let's get started. First, you're going to want to get paper and a writing utensil. Now I've already roughed out today's image with a light graded pencil just to save time. The first one I'm going to do is a more conservative dress, which is a blouse with a little jacket. So, we'll first draw out her little body, add a color, give her a shoulder, draw her arm a bit, draw her chest, go jacket part, another jacket. Then I'm going to go ahead and draw the top part of her dress, add a nice little section right there, so it shows she's a little conservative. Go, add a few lines, then we're going to draw her legs in and draw a no face head because we're just mostly focusing on her fashion today. So, that's our first dress. Our second one is going to be a bit more elegant. There's a long dress and draw her neck, draw her shoulders, draw the head. I'm going to give her a bit of a feel of surprise with her body reaction. So, like she doesn't expect anyone was coming to see her or she's going to be drawn. Now we're going to add one more line to her flowing dress and a couple more to represent the folds of the dress. There we go and we're going to add that right there, right there, there we go. That is our second dress. Now, let's add a third one and I'm feeling it should be a little festive. So, draw her shoulder. See, I'm going to draw her form of her dress now. I want it to be sort of like the Chiquita Banana Lady. Add a couple more lines and I'm going to add a belt to her as well, with a little knot tie. Now her dress straps are going to have some frill to it as well. It is very fiesta, very fun and I'm going to draw a little fruit hat. Carnival, carnival, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. And last, but not least, I'm going to also add her feet. And there you have it. Three excellent examples of how to draw dresses. And that's how you draw dresses on women. I hope you enjoyed. I'll see you next time.
