Hello, I am Jacklyn Laflamme. I am a professional artist with JacklynLaflamme.com. In this clip, I am going to show you how to paint water with acrylic paint. You will need a canvas, you will need acrylic paint, you will need paintbrushes. We are going to start off with a nice ultramarine blue. And, we are just going to pull our brush across, just like this. See how I am just pulling the brush strokes? Then, I am going to take another blue, a lighter blue, and just go underneath and again, you can take your brush and just kind of wave it, so that you get the ripples in the water. Now water, there is a lot of different colors in water; if you look at the water, it is never just one color blue, so you want to add different colors and different shades in. I am going to take a little bit of a turquoisey-green, and I am just going to start to add. See how the the green, it is going to make the water look a little darker in the background and you want to have it a little lighter here in the foreground. And you can just highlight a little bit in the foreground here. And you see, just that simply, with a few brushstrokes going back and forth, you can create water. This is Jacklyn Laflamme, thank you for watching.
