Hello, I'm Sue Walker, and I'm going to show you a New York pizza crust recipe. You will need a mixer with a dough hook, measuring cups and measuring spoons, a two-cup glass measuring cup, and a towel. The ingredients are one package of dry yeast, one teaspoon of sugar, three-fourths cup of warm water, two and a half cups of all-purpose flour, one and one-half tablespoons of olive oil, and three-fourths teaspoon of salt. Start by pouring your water into a two-cup glass measuring cup. Sprinkle the sugar and yeast over the water, and mix it together. Let it stand till it starts to foam. Mix the flour and salt in the mixer bowl. Start mixing on low with the dough hook. Now pour the water in slowly. Pour in about half of the water, then pour in the rest of the water, and continue mixing. Turn the mixer speed up a little bit, and mix in the olive oil. Mix the dough until it's smooth and elastic. Transfer the dough to a bowl, and cover with a towel. Let it rise for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Now you're ready to make your pizza. And that is a New York pizza crust recipe.
