Hi, I'm Sue Walker and I'm going to show you an Irish Beef stew, slow cooker recipe. The ingredients are one-third cup of flour, one teaspoon of salt, one half teaspoon of pepper, two pounds of beef stew meat cut into one inch cubes, two tablespoons of olive oil. Six carrots sliced, four large potatoes sliced, one cup of chopped celery, one chopped onion, one bottle of Guinness beer, one half cup of water, one-half teaspoon of celery seed and one teaspoon of salt. You will also need a slow cooker. The first step is to mix one-third cup of flour with one and a half teaspoons of salt and one-half teaspoon of pepper. Mix them together and coat the beef stew meat. In a large pot, heat the two tablespoons of oil, brown the meat in the oil until it's browned on all sides. After the meat is browned, place in the slow cooker. Add the vegetables, stir in the beer, water, two teaspoons of kitchen bouquet, one tablespoon of tomato paste and seasonings. Stir all the ingredients together and bring to a boil. Cook on high for five to six hours, or on low for ten to twelve hours, remove the bay leaf. And that is an Irish beef stew, slow cooker recipe.
