Hello, I'm Statia Widak and I'm from Plainville, Massachusetts and I love collecting glass it is my hobby. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. As it happened I did come across some old bottles and one of them was the, well this is Clifford he was a pharmacist out of Vermont. I thought that was pretty interesting. Also for health reasons or medicinal things there's a bottle there with a honey label and it's got the farm name on it which is Lakeshore Honey and there was a bottle that contained honey. That was an old thing. We have the Castoria which I remember always, they would always have this in the olden days and they would use it as medicine or whatever. Here is a Lysol bottle. I don't know what that would be for. Bottles did come in colors. There were, blues were used a lot and blue was used a lot in the cosmetic field, they would have creams for ladies facials that they would give or for their hair and then of course we have the amber colored bottles and I guess the goods would stay fresher longer in a dark color bottle. But these are just some of the bottles that I collected not many because it wasn't my specialty but it's still interesting because they did have the names printed on them.
