Hi my name is Tanya Batts and I'm a personal trainer. Let's talk about how to get a flat stomach after a C-section. The materials you will need to get a flat stomach after a C-section are just a little bit of space and a mat. It can be done and I'm going to show you three exercises that can help you do it. Tip number one, we're going to come on down on your back, simple. So we're all the way down, set your knees both of them directly above your hips. Your arms can be wide or you can make your hands like a triangle, kind of place your thumbs right there and you are going to outline your tailbone. You want to lower one heel and lower the other so what this is working is those super low muscles right where they cut for your C-section. Those are fantastic. Another great exercise is tip number two: left knee coming into chest, your right leg is long, you can just hold and keep your head on the floor as you send the legs out. If that is too hard aim the legs more to the ceiling, you can even lift the upper body off the floor, not with the neck, with the abdominal muscles. Tip number three: this is another one, legs all the way up. So notice we're using these legs as resistance, hand as a triangle is probably going to be a good idea for you. You just want to lower the legs half way and pull them back up and as you get stronger you're going to realize, hey I can lower my legs almost to the floor and if you really get stronger you don't even need the triangle. You can lift the head off the floor and really see the muscles that you're working to get those abdominals flat. So those are just a few things you can do to really help you get that flat stomach back after your C-section.
