When changing a baby's diaper, it's important to stay by the baby at all times and to make sure that it's not too tight. Learn how to use the sticky tabs on diapers with help from a mother of three in this free video on changing babies.
Hi there, come in Atlanta, Georgia and I'm the mother of three children all under the age of five. So I have plenty of experience raising children and taking care of toddlers and I'm going to show you today how to change a baby's diaper. What you need to do first is you take off their pants or their little shorts before you get started and all stay by your baby at all times; don't leave. And what you're going to do is you're going to take the clean diaper and put it under dirty diaper and then you're going to undo her diaper. So make sure that the sticky tabs are facing up and that the design is on the top. And then what you're going to do is you're going to take the sticky tab and put it on this side and do the exact same on the other side and make sure that it's not too tight. If you can sick a finger under there, that's, that's good; you don't want it too tight for the baby. And then you can fold it down if they haven't; the umbilical cord hasn't come off yet, you can just fold this little flop down so it doesn't irritate it. And then you'll just put on their pants back on and you're all set.
