"Hello my name is Dr. Simion Tsinker. I'm with Plantation Maternity Center in Plantation, Florida. Let's talk about the symptoms that we should be concerned about during pregnancy. Obviously in the first trimester it would be abdominal pain especially accompanied by vaginal bleeding because it might be early symptoms of an impending miscarriage. As the pregnancy grows larger and the woman starts perceiving fetal movements a worrisome sign would be not feeling fetal movements at all, absence of the fetal movements. Again vaginal bleeding would be also important of any kind. It is better to be safe than sorry. Any kind of vaginal bleeding some of which may not necessarily be a sign of disaster should still be given the benefit of a doubt and a woman should still be checked by her physician or in the hospital and of course another sign would be rupture, especially premature rupture of amniotic sac. If the membranes rupture a woman will experience a gush of water running down her legs. She should also seek medical attention immediately."
