"Hello my name is Dr. Simion Tsinker. I am with Plantation Maternity Center in Plantation, Florida. So let's talk about tips of how to get pregnant. Obviously in order to get pregnant a woman should have unprotected intercourse. There is no way avoiding that part. We usually say to our patients that if a patient is younger than 30 years of age she should have unprotected intercourse for at least 12 months without getting pregnant as to get concerned for the first time and seek medical advice. If a woman is 35 years of age until the age of 40 she should not wait longer than six months of unprotected intercourse without achieving a pregnancy and if a woman is 40 years of age she should seek medical attention right away. In order for the woman to be more successful in achieving pregnancy, she is well advised to know the length of her menstrual cycle. The menstrual cycle starts with the first day of menstrual blood flow until the first day of the next cycle of menstrual flow. It could be as short as three weeks and as long as five weeks."
