"Hi my name is Tanya Batts and I am a personal trainer at Gold's Gym. Going to tell you how to do close handed push-ups. So when I think of close handed push-ups I guess I think of the diamond push-up. So we are going to come right here, kind of make a diamond shape with your fingers and your thumbs. Knees if you want it, toes if you can do it, I am sticking with knees here is where I am going. Going down touch your nose right in the diamond. Inhale as you lower exhale as you lift. It is really working tricep, if you just hate the diamond you could take your hands a little wider but yet your finger tips are still facing on an angel inward. And you are just going to inhale, exhale. So if you want to lift the knees off. Then go ahead and do it, but that is how you do a close handed push-ups. Hand diamond if you want, make the hands a little wider, completely up to you but it is really putting a lot of pressure on the wrists, but it is working those triceps. And that is how you do a close-grip push-up."
