"Hello my name is Remy Dou I'm a science teacher here at Miami Christian School in Miami, Florida. Let's talk a little bit about what is a graviton particle. A graviton particle, it's actually a theoretical particle. Nobody has ever seen it or measured it. But it's believed to be what mediates gravity. In other words when you have an electric current it's mediated by the electrons moving in a copper wire. But gravity is mediated by a particle that would be called a graviton particle. Now scientists believe that this particle exists thanks to theories like the string theory but because the string theory is still in it's infancy we can't say for sure that graviton particles exist. What we can say is that if they do exist graviton particles would have no mass, they would travel at nearly the speed of light and they would carry very, very little energy."
