Creating clouds for the nursery. You will need your blue paint and your white paint to be thinking like a cloud and I think kind of like a cloud you have to drift and soften and some areas are left heavier. Look at clouds, take pictures of clouds and go right up into and over some of the blues and then soften some of the edges. If I were in a nursery which I am sort of thinking I am I have got a sky would be going around the room and perhaps some water below. It would just be clouds that would continue very soft, very soothing for little babies and when you are done painting the sky you could always paint some balloons or something drifting in or some other theme that is nursery oriented, fairies or whatever you desire, Dumbo with his ears. The first part would be to get the sky painted. If you are painting in a baby's room it would be a good idea to make sure the baby is not in the room. Even though I am using water based paint some babies have reactions or children or even adults to any sorts of paints. Keep some windows open. Creating clouds for the nursery is always fun. You can go around the whole room using this technique that I have been using. I just had two colors the blue I mixed and an off white which actually looks very white because of the dark background that I was working on.
