"The next topic that we are going to talk about is inflammation. And the first herb that we are going to use is turmeric, cucurmin is the active anti inflammatory agent found in the spice turmeric. Turmeric is also effective and is a very powerful anti inflammatory drug in reducing pain, swelling, stiffness, and it's also used in rheumatoid arthritis. It is also been very, very effective in treatment of post surgical operations. And as well as inflammation. Other studies indicate that turmeric can also lower histamine levels and is a very potent anti oxidant. These factors may also contribute to it's anti inflammatory capabilities. The daily dosage for turmeric is actually four hundred to six hundred milligrams daily if it's taken in a pill form or in a form of capsules. Also turmeric is widely used in every country as well as in every dish and every cuisine, you can add turmeric close to one tablespoon to about two tablespoons in your favorite dishes."
