Determine if a fingernail is dry, peeling or brittle before buying the right commercial products to strengthen them. Keep nails strong with a three way buffer and moisturizer with insight from an experienced nail technician in this free video on nail care.
Hi, today we're going to talk about how to strengthen your fingernails and you have to first determine what is the type of nail that you have. Is it dry? Is it peely? Are they brittle? And once you've determined that, then you can purchase any kind of commercial product that will be designed for that type of nail. In the meantime you can do a few things at home to help to stimulate the circulation by massaging a cream back by the cuticle. Keeping them buffed I recommend a three way buffer, and just bring that down and then use all three sides, and what it's going to do is it's going to keep the edges from peeling. You would also like to keep your nails manicured regularly, don't use them as screwdrivers or to scrape off the bottoms of pots and pans. Keep your hands moisturized and that should help to promote your nail growth. You want to really make sure that you don't use too much remover either. Once a week is plenty to remove your polish.
