"If you have irritable bowel syndrome, you may feel that it's causing unnecessary pains and discomfort. I'm Dan Carlson, I'm a nurse, and I'm going to help you how to change your diet if you have irritable bowel syndrome. A good way to start off is to keep a journal of what you're eating. Exactly what you're eating, the meats, the dairies, which you might want to stay away from, certain things on everyday basis. Just a journal of what you're eating, how it felt after you ate, and you can look at that and base your decisions on maybe you should stay away from one thing, and go towards another. Dairy foods often cause a lot of flare ups with your irritable bowel syndrome, and may want to stay away from those. If you keep an accurate journal, you can pretty much see exactly what's causing your flare ups, and your irritability with the bowel syndrome. Gas forming foods may not be something you want to go towards, you'll have to take those out of there, too, as well as dairy products. After you go through a good, clear journal, you can take that in to your doctor and maybe he can help point out some other factors as well. I'm Dan Carlson, and this is how to care or change your diet, if you may have irritable bowel syndrome."
