Hi, I'm Ann Myrick, and today I'm going to show you how to clean a window screen. What you want to do first is we have taken this off just where it will be easier to get to, and then I have a clean paintbrush that is only used for these type of chores, and I would just start, of course, a window screen will have a lot of dirt and a lot of cobwebs, so you before you start putting water on your window screen you want to get all of that off where you don't make it worse than what it really is. So you just want to brush the window screen, and once you've gotten it clean, then with hot soapy water, and I have just used, there's many things in the water that you could use, but I've just used some dish detergent and about a probably about a cup of dish detergent to a gallon of water, and then I just very lightly with my brush I go across very lightly and just scrub it and then turn it around and scrub the other side. Once you've totally soaped down your screen, then you would get a hose, and I like using the shower setting, and so turn on your water really forceful and just start going down your screen, rinsing all the soap off. And then, what I do, is I just put in the if it's a sunny day, put it in the sun and let the sun dry it and then hang it up. This is Ann Myrick, and that is how you clean a window screen.
