"How do you make a homemade flea dip for your dog or cat? Well, making a homemade flea dip is relatively easy, not necessarily the most surefire way to kill fleas but it can be done. Basically there's a couple of different ways to do it. You can start with your big bath water, a big tub of water, and before you'll put your animal in there, you can take a drop of tea tree oil and we'll just put a little drop in there, bloo, and then you can mix it up. You don't want to use more than a drop because tea tree oil is quite toxic, and we don't want that hurting the dog or cat in any way, shape or form. Of course never allow tea tree oil to actually get on the animal directly, always dilute it. In the event that you don't want to use tea tree oil you can also use essential oil of lavender, that also works fairly well. And the other thing you can do is you can take a teaspoon of dried rosemary and the night before you're going to make your little bath, you can take that and you can boil it, in a large pot of water. And then you can use that water after it's cooled the next day in your bath and that works very well as well as a flea repellent and it also helps kill fleas. Those are going to be your main ways to make a flea dip or bath."
