Hi, this is Ann Myrick, and today I'm going to show you how to clean a porcelain sink. The important thing is to know what type of cleanser to use, you want to use a non-abrasive cleanser. Household products would be like a vinegar and water-base, or also you could use commercial, something like a 409, a Fantastic, or a Soft Scrub. What you want to do is- and if you're washing with a powder- today I'm going to wash with a spray, but if you're washing with a powder, the key is to get the water up on the sides first so the powder will clean to the sides, but I really like a spray because it's quicker. So I'm just going to spray a little bit of the Soft Scrub, and then take a gentle sponge, or a paper towel, and I'm not even going to wet it, because this way it has a little bit more texture and roughness to it, and I'm just going to go around, and just the areas, if there's a little bit of added dirt in place, you might need to use a little bit of elbow grease, but go around. You want to also get your drain and your closer really well, and then just flush the sink. You can either fill it up with water or get a cup, you want to get the soap out really well, because some soaps if they sit, they could spot the sink, and then, I just always just dry it a little bit, and that just buffs it. This is Ann Myrick, and that is how you clean your porcelain sink.
