"Hi so you have a screaming toothache, well I am going to explain to you on how you can stop a toothache. My name is Michelle and I'm a dental assistant with Solutions. There is no really easy way to stop a toothache. What you really want to do is you want to go see your general dentist so therefore he would be able to prescribe some type of medication or antibiotic and mainly to determine exactly what is going on with your tooth or your gums whatever the issue may be. He would definitely be able to help you with stopping the toothache but in the meantime what you could do until you can see your general dentist is you might want to purchase an over-the-counter numbing medication such as Ora Gel and that would then in return what you want to do is just place the Ora Gel on your tooth and on your gum and that would just numb it for the time being until you are able to see your general dentist. Or you would be able to purchase like over-the-counter pain medication as far as like Advil, Tylenol, something that has Ibuprofen in it because it is an anti-inflammatory and that would prevent any inflammation that you might have. But mainly you do want to see your general dentist so therefore he would be able to determine on exactly is causing the toothache and help you fix it and correct it at that time. Once again my name is Michelle and I just explained to you on how to prevent a toothache."
