So your out at a party and you happen to get a tooth ache. Well hi my name's Michelle and I'm from Solutions and I'm a dental assistant. I'm going to explain to you on how to care for a tooth ache. Basically what you would want to first initially do is go to the pharmacy, get over the counter what we call oral gel or any type of numbing oral agent and your going to place it on your gums and around your tooth in the area where your having the ache from. What that will do is it'll numb the area to help prevent any pain you might be having. Also you're going to want to take either Advil or Tylenol some type of pain medication. Advil's great because it's anti-inflammatory it'll help with any inflammation that you might have from that area and then which in return will lessen and reduce your pain. Also too you're going definitely want to go see your general dentists right afterwards. If it's on the weekend you want to go see him first thing Monday morning. Therefore he would be able to determine exactly what type of tooth ache you having . It might be a gum problem. It might be gum issue but mainly if your having a tooth ache those are the main pertinent things you would want to do. Go get some oral gel to help you over the weekend or overnight. Take some Advil or some type of pain medication for it and then go see your general dentists so therefore he would be determined for what he can do to help you out. Ok and my name's Michelle and I'm from Solutions and I just explained to you on how to help with a tooth ache.
