"Hi my name is Michelle and I am a dental assistant with Solutions and I am going to explain to you how you can prevent tooth decay. One of the main reasons and why people get tooth decay is because they don't brush their teeth. It is an easy way to prevent tooth decay so you definitely want to make sure that you brush and you floss your teeth every day on a regular basis at least two to three times a day, before you eat, after you eat, mainly too after you eat so therefore you are removing all of the debris, the bacteria that is in your mouth. If you let bacteria set on your teeth you are going to start accumulating decay on your teeth so flossing in between your teeth will remove any debris, brushing on top of your teeth will remove any debris which then in return reduces the effects of decay. Also too rinsing with like Listerine or an antiseptic mouth rinse, that will swish out and remove any debris and bacteria which in turn will prevent decay. You definitely want to visit your general dentist on a regular basis at least two to three times per year to prevent tooth decay but mainly those are the main reasons on how you can prevent tooth decay and once again my name is Michelle and I'm a dental assistant with Solutions and I just explained to you on how to prevent tooth decay."
