Hi, I'm Gretchen Rivas, with Relax to the Max, Massage Therapy, and today, we're going to talk about how to give your wife a massage. Since most of you probably don't have a massage table at home, what I'm going to do, is show you how to give a massage to your wife, as if you were at home, maybe on the bed or on the floor of the living room. Wherever you are, you want to make sure that it's soft, and padded. Don't have her lay on the hard tile, or anything like that. What you want to do, is have her lie down. Have some pillows under her, or something soft.Use a little bit of oil. You don't have to have a fancy massage oil for this. You can just get some nice vegetable oil out of the refrigerator. Well, warm it up first, though. Anything in the kitchen that you can ingest, you can put on the skin. It should be safe, and when you're working on the back, you want to make sure that you work on each side of the spine. Don't rub right on the bones. You want to do some nice strokes, all over the back. Work up around the neck area, around that shoulder blade. She probably carries a lot of tension and stress in that area there. Go sideways across the back, from the spine on out. That feels good too. Work up through there. You remember, you don't want to sit on top of her. I mean, you might be able to, but oftentimes, that's just a little bit too heavy, so if you straddle the body like this, it makes it a little bit easier on her, and on you, because you can have a little bit more movement, available to you, and then when you want to do the legs, you can just kind of scoot back. Add a little bit more oil, and work the legs, and always do some, nice, long gliding strokes through here, on both legs, and all the way up through the back, and back down through here, like this, and that will feel really good, and that's how you give your wife a nice massage.
