"Hi, I'm Amy McCauley, and I'm going to discuss with you today how to get rid of stomach fat. First you want to think about your diet. You need to eat a very clean diet that is high in fiber, and protein. You can stick with a little bit of carbs. Try not to eat any junk food. Keep it pretty clean. Get your vegetables in. Multi-vitamins are really good to have. Work on your cardiovascular endurance. Try to get that up. That definitely helps melt away some of the fat around your stomach--the extra fat. And core strength training. Really good to do Pilates classes. Pilates focuses on stomach and back, and all the areas around. The stronger your stomach and back, and actually your legs are, the less fat you will attain in your stomach. So those are the ways to keep the body fat down in your belly. Again, we want to focus on the diet, in conjunction with the cardiovascular, and focus on the stomach. So doing crunches alone won't do it. So you want to make sure that you work on as many different activities as you can, and again, focus on the legs as well, because that will kind of help give the illusion of a leaner stomach. And that is how we get rid of stomach fat."
