Have you ever wondered what the pros and the cons of teeth dental implants. Well my name is Michelle and I'm a dental assistant with Solutions and I'm going to explain to you the pros and cons. Of course the pros of the teeth implants are outweigh the cons. Basically it's dental implants are great for aesthetic purposes if you are missing a tooth in the front or you got a tooth knocked out on your front tooth. You can have a dental implant placed and it looks just like a natural teeth. So for aesthetic purposes and kind of creating that great confident smile. Teeth implants would be a great option for you. Also to for functionality with teeth implants if you are missing a tooth in the back of course you are not going to be able to chew or bite correctly if you are missing teeth in the back. So maybe an option of getting a couple of implants placed there so therefore you are able to function and chew your food properly it would be a great option for you. The only really downfall with it comes to dental implants is sometimes your body can actually reject it, because it is a titanium metal, also depending on what type of implant is placed. So your bone might not always adhere to the implant so it might not have that good stable foundation if the bone doesn't adhere to it. So your body will actually start to force the implant up and out of the bone or it will create an infection around the implant which would cause a toothache. So it's always best to go visit your general dentist to kind of see what options are for you, what type of implant and if your body would be able to accept the implant. So once again my name is Michelle and I'm a dental assistant with Solutions and I just explained to you the pros and cons of dental implants.
