Okay those cross picking exercises we can use those and they're adaptable. You always want to use a metronome and do them as a warm-up exercise, just to get the right hand moving. Lastly, what we can do as with any of those is kind of skip string. So, one idea is to alternate these low two so; or you can alternate the high two, so; now these are done just so you can get your right hand moving and you always want to keep in mind, you always want to alternate pick; downstrokes on the down beats and upstrokes, upstrokes on the up beat.
