"Now we're going to do a straddle in a seated position. Begin; you can use your hands for support, stretching the legs out into a comfortable straddle position, resting firmly into your sitting bones. Now straddle stretches the hamstring and also opens the hips. Begin to melt down, leading with the chest, drawing the shoulder blades back. You can rest onto the forearms. Now if that's too much of a stretch, you might just rest onto your the palms of your hands. And the point is to keep the back straight. Again, we're not arching the back, and trying to touch our head to the earth. Feeling that deep stretch in the inner thighs, hamstrings adductors, feet are flexed, breathe. And then, to come back in, walk those hands in, and simply straighten the back, and bring the feet together."
