Downloading songs onto an iPod often occurs automatically when an iPod is connected via USB cable to a computer running iTunes. Download songs and playlists onto an iPod manually by clicking and dragging with tips from an Internet business consultant in this free video on iPods.
Hi, I'm Tod Amazeen. I've been an internet business consultant for fifteen years. I'm going to show you how to download songs, onto an iPod. iTunes and iPod are both registered trademarks of the Apple Corporation, a company with which I have no affiliation. First, open iTunes by double clicking on the icon, on your desktop, and then connect your iPod to your computer, using the USB cable provided. Once you've connected your iPod, you'll see it appear under Devices, on the left hand side. If your iPod is configured to automatically be updated, when you connect it to the computer, iTunes will automatically copy songs over to your iPod, that you have recently added to your library. Another option, is to manually manage your music and videos, when you check this box here, Manually manage music and videos. Now, you can click and drag on songs that are in your library, and put them onto your iPod, so on the left hand side, click on Music. Select the song by clicking on it, and then drag it over to my iPod, on the left hand side, and release. Now, that track has been copied over to your iPod. You've just learned how to download songs, onto an iPod. I'm Tod Amazeen.
