"Avoiding razor burn before it even happens may be easier than dealing with a painful rash once it's started. I'm Jackie with how to eliminate razor burn. Purchasing good razors or using an electric shaver can help avoid razor burn. When using a standard razor, discard the blade after only a few uses. A fresh razor blade allows you to use less pressure and that means less razor burn. Shave at the end of your shower or bath and when your skin is softened from the heat and steam. Use shaving cream that's formulated for sensitive skin and apply a thick layer of cream. Avoid excess pressure and going over the same spot too many times. If possible, try to avoid shaving more than once a day. Be sure to thoroughly rinse all shaving creams, gels and soaps, and splash shaved skin with cold water to sooth it and close the pores. Use some all natural moisturizer about thirty minutes after shaving. To treat existing razor burn, use one hundred percent aloe vera gel. If you don't have an aloe plant of your own, you can purchase the gel at health food stores, pharmacies, and even some supermarkets. Remember, to eliminate razor burn, use fresh blades, apply a thick layer of shaving cream, and apply pure aloe vera gel to existing razor burn. I'm Jackie with how to eliminate razor burn. You're looking good."
