You know a frustrating experience, is when using something like super glue, is to get it on the fingers or on the hands to where it dries. Hi, I'm Captain Joe Bruni. And what we're going to talk about is how to remove super glue that has gotten onto the fingers or skin surface area of the hands. One of the most effective ways to remove super glue would be to take nail polish remover and a cotton swab. Nail polish remover is actually the chemical acetone. Acetone will break down super glue and be able to remove it by using the cotton ball. By rubbing it vigorously back and forth until a satisfactory amount of glue has been removed. We would apply the acetone or the nail polish remover to the cotton ball and rub back and forth removing the glue as much as necessary. If no nail polish remover or acetone is readily available. Simply let the glue dry on your hands and then slowly pick and peel ensuring that you don't damage the underlying layers of skin under the glue. Its a much more tedious process than using nail polish remover, however, it is effective and will work. At a certain point and time, after a significant amount of glue has been removed by peeling. You can rub the hands back and forth together to get as much of the glue off as possible after that. Super glue, one of the frustrating experiences when it gets on the fingers and hands. Captain Joe Bruni. Stay safe and we'll see you next time.
