"You know with the constant talk of global warming and the constant concern of our planet and its cleanliness. There are many steps we can take to help reduce energy costs and pollution. Hi, I'm Captain Joe Bruni. And what we're going to talk about is some tips to reduce pollution in our environment. One of the things you might want to consider is to keep your car in good working condition. Making sure that a finely tuned engine runs much more fuel efficient will also reduce pollution, as well as keep the cost down for fuel and energy. Fueling your car during the evening hours or early morning hours, instead of the heat of the day, will help reduce emissions that result in ground level ozone from forming. Also consider using some type of merchants that offer delivery services, so you won't have to drive your vehicle to pick up products that you buy. One other option would be to carry your lunch to work, or find some type of delivery service that will deliver you food to your place of business. So again you wont have to use the car to run out during lunch time hours. Also, plan your errand trips accordingly. Doing one right after another and making one trip at a time to complete several different errands and tasks. Also using gas powered lawn equipment as little as possible, are just some of the tips out there to help reduce pollution in todays energy conservation type of mindset. I'm Captain Joe Bruni. Stay safe. And we'll see you next time."
