"Hi, my name is Ashley Ludman, from Seaside Yoga, here to review yoga apparel. First, of all, in yoga, you don't have to wear shoes. So, take off your shoes, take off your socks, leave them at the door. If you're completely uncomfortable, going without socks, than it is appropriate to keep your socks on. But, you'll probably find that without socks, you'll have a little bit more traction on your yoga mat. In terms of pants, you want something that is, is form fitting, so that your yoga instructor can see your alignment. Pants that are a little blousier and baggy, if you're more comfortable in that, that's fine, but just know that your instructor might not be able to see your, your leg or knee position. And, and that's very important in, in the yoga practice. In terms of tops, something form fitting, so that when you're in a downward facing dog, or poses where you're head is below your waist level, your large shirt isn't ballooning over your face. So, I find myself more comfortable in, in something that doesn't have sleeves, something that I can move around, and my instructor can see alignment of my shoulders, my knees, my feet. And, as long as you're comfortable and have room to breathe and room to move, that's the best yoga apparel you can find. Thanks for joining me."
