"Hi, my name is Ashley Ludman, from Seaside Yoga. Here to review some of the essential things to keep in mind, when choosing clothes for your Pilates practice. So first of all, if you are practicing Pilates in a group format with a teacher, you want to make sure that the teacher is able to see your alignment, so something that I have on right now, would be great, to wear to your Pilates class. The top is form fitting. My shoulders and upper back are able to be seen by my teacher, and as well as the pants. The pants are form fitting. They're not too baggy to wear. They would get involved in any of the exercises in a way, that would prohibit my range of motion. The other important key to pay in mind, is that you're comfortable. That you have the ability to move and breathe, so I would recommend elastic waistbands, that help you to stabilize and move freely, within your exercises, so oftentimes you won't use shoes in Pilates, and if you're using equipment, and you're working on the equipment, definitely you will want to be barefoot to have the traction that will support you, within the different exercises, so I hope that helps, in my review of Pilates apparel."
