"Stretching is important, my tip on stretching however, just briefly, is that you do it after the workout. You warm up by moving your body and you do your stretches after your warmed up and after you've worked out. That's just, that's the way I prefer to do it, I think it's safer. Okay, what's the quadricep muscle? It's the muscle right here. I have a big quad muscle so it's easy, it's right here and we want to stretch it. Couple of different things to do. First of all, if you're not good in balance, and if you're not, you should be doing some balance work, hold on to something, anchor your body. I'm going to show you this from two angles. So from here, I'm just simply going to pick up my foot. Now we have a tendency to bring our leg out into arch. You want your pelvis in neutral, back straight and I'm going to resist my hand with my foot, I'm going to keep my knees lined up and I'm going to focus on the front of my leg stretching. It shouldn't hurt but it should be a little bit uncomfortable. Now, what does it look like from the front and if I'm not holding on? You want to balance first. Got it? Bring your leg up, it's going to be really embarrassing if I fall here. Right? Keep my knees together and the same stretch if I need to, I can be basically out here with my plain quadriceps stretch. There are other ways to do it, basic, simple, very effective, that's what I would suggest."
