"Hello, and welcome back. I'm here today to tell you more about the elliptical trainer, and the first things that I'd like to speak about are the safety precautions and issues. As with any cardio or fitness program, it's always best to get approval from your physician first, and this will give you the confidence that you have to use the machine in your cardio workout. Not to feel that there might be a problem. It just erases all those issues, so it's a great idea to start that with your physician. And other precaution things that I'd like to tell you about today on the machine are, lotion on your hands is something that's really important. It can be kind of slippery, and you want to be able to grip the machine to be able to take control of the machine, and not have the machine take control of you. As we spoke about earlier, shoes are very important to be able to have a wonderful stance on the machine, and again, have the confidence that you need to be able to use the machine aggressively when you are more proficient and get more experience with the machine. There's wonderful techniques that we'll be showing you about later. What's a very important thing to remember is sweating is a big part of cardio. You want to sweat a lot. You want to burn those calories, so in order to do that you need to replenish those that water in your system. So, have plenty of good fresh water with you, and you remember that you, before you work out of any routine; especially cardio, that you don't want to eat a lot beforehand, at least an hour, and carbohydrates are the best thing to have to give you that fuel and that energy that you'll need to be able to have that wonderful and vigorous workout. Other things to remember are if you have long hair, or hair that could get in the way to put it up or out of the way, because again, you're going to be sweating, so you really want to have great control over those items. And jewelry, other watches, other things like that are things that also are best to be left, not to be worn when you're working on the cross trainer, again, for obvious obvious reasons. So, thanks so much and we'll be right back."
